This project was started during April 2002 at Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital.

There were 62 reporting cases of Hypertension, 45 reporting cases of Diabetes Mellitus and 7 cases of combined hypertension and diabetes mellitus during the period 1st April 2004 to 31st December 2004. Marked improvement was seen in 16 cases of hypertension, 13 cases of Diabetes Mellitus and 5 cases of combined hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Moderate improvement was seen in 23 cases of Hypertension, 12 cases of Diabetes Mellitus and mild improvement in 14 cases of Hypertension, 8 cases of diabetes mellitus. Medicines found effective were Nat mur., Lyco., Sulphur., Calc carb., Ars alb., Nux vom., Sepia., Sulp., Phos., Thuja and Arg nit.
