IX th FIVE YEAR PLAN

During IXth Five - Year Plan various plan scheme have been designed for the development and expansion of Homoeopathy in Delhi with a basic thrust to provide basic minimum health care facilities to all.

PLAN SCHEMES

1. Establishment of Homoeopathic Units in existing Hospitals The object of the scheme is to provide homoeopathic treatment to the patients coming to the allopathic hospitals and to develop better coordination with other systems of medicine. The target is to start three new clinics every year.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

To integrate Homoeopathy in existing health care infrastructure

To extend homoeopathic curative services to the vulnerable masses living in JJ Clusters, rural areas and resettlement colonies

To augment education opportunities, research and development.

2. Establishment of Homoeopathic Mobile Clinics The aim of the scheme is to provide homoeopathic treatment to JJ Clusters, urban slums and rural area with a target of starting 10 Homeopathic Clinics every year.

3.Opening of Homoeopathic Clinics in School Health Scheme. The object of the scheme is to provide preventive, promotive and curative homoeopathic services and health education to schoolchildren. The target is to establish 10-school health clinic every year.

4.Revival of Dr. B. R. Sur Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre. The Govt. of Delhi has taken over the management of this College to enhance the homeopathic education facilities in Delhi. %0% seates have been created for Degree level Homeopathic Education.

5.Evaluation of Homoeopathic Drugs in Multi Drug Resistant Pulmonary Tuberculosis: The efforts are being made to find out the efficacy of Homoeopathic drugs in the treatment of TB & MDRTB. The scheme is being implemented through Dilli Homoeopathic Anusandhan Parishad.

6. Development of Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital: The aim of the scheme is introduce Post - Graduate Courses in Homoeopathy at this institution.

7. Opening and strengthening of Homoeopathic Dispensaries in Delhi The objectives of this scheme are to open new dispensaries strengthen the existing homeopathic dispensaries and homoeopathic dispensaries by providing additional staff and to strengthen the structural framework with the installation of computers in dispensaries.The target is to start five new homoeopathic dispensaries every year in the existing .

8. Establishment of Homoeopathic Research Council. Dilli Homoeopathic Anusandhan Parishad has already been established committed to initiate, aid, develop and coordinate scientific research in fundamental and applied aspects of Homoeopathy.

9. Establishment of Directorate of Homoeopathy During VIIIth Five-Year Plan combined Directorate of ISM & Homoeopathy was established. In the IXth Plan the objective is to establish a separate Directorate of Homoeopathy for the development, expansion and supportive supervision of existing infrastructure of Homoeopathy as per the policy of Govt. of India / Govt. of Delhi

10. Establishment of Homoeopathic College & Hospital in Delhi. The efforts are being made to procure land at Karam Pura and Najafgarh area for the new Homeopathic Medical College and hospital.
